Robert like so many of the men we work with showed up at ReEngage frustrated and discouraged. He desperately needed a second chance, but on one was willing to take a chance on him. With children to support and no prospects for employment Robert was ready for a change. He enrolled and attended our three week training program. During his training he stated he was living in a bad situation and was surrounded by bad influences. After graduation Robert went to work for Straub Construction, one of our employer partners and sponsors. We created ReEngage Staffing for this purpose. As an employer when an applicant shows up, all you know about the person is what is written on the paper (resume or application). No matter how much they dazzle you in the interview if that paper isn’t right (inconsistent work history, ex-offender, etc.) you can’t hire them. They are too risky. At ReEngage Staffing we allow employers to try out an employee before they have to make the investment to hire them. For a small fee, we handle their payroll, taxes, and workman’s comp insurance. After a few months, if the employee demonstrates an ability to do the job they are yours to hire.
