The foundation of our ReEngage program, The Man Class© and its guiding light are the SUPERMAN Principles. These eight spiritual principles are the key to the becoming the men and women we were created to be. SUPERMAN is not just for the men we work with, but for anyone who wants to live an abundant life. Practice these principles and your life will improve and not just your life, but also those around you. – Rodney Knott

SUPERMAN Principles

Here are the eight principles of being a SUPERMAN

Stop participating in self destructive behavior:

Unafraid to be great

Participate in positive change

Envision a new life

Respect the value of others

Manifest your gifts and talents

Accept responsibility for decisions and choices

Nurture those around you

Stop participating in self-destructive behavior:
Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage. – Galatians 5:1

Unafraid to be great
But Jesus called them to Himself and said, “You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and those who are great exercise authority over them. Yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you, let him be your servant. .. just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.” – Matthew 20:25-28

Participate in positive change
I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live; – Deuteronomy 30:19

Envision a new life
Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he. – Proverbs 29:18

Respect the value of others
…In the day that God created man, He made him in the likeness of God. – Genesis 5:1

Manifest your gifts and talents
And to one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one, to each according to his own ability; and immediately he went on a journey. Then he who had received the five talents went and traded with them, and made another five talents. And likewise he who had received two gained two more also. But he who had received one went and dug in the ground, and hid his lord’s money. – Matthew 25:15-18

Accept responsibility for decisions and choices
He who covers his sins will not prosper, but whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy. – Psalm 28:13

Nurture those around you
“For a good tree does not bear bad fruit, nor does a bad tree bear good fruit. For every tree is known by its own fruit…A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth evil. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.” – Luke 6:43-45
